BUSINESS HISTORY

Originally commencing business at Auburn in the 1960’s, then “Western Motor Body Repair Specialists PL” Station Rd, Seven Hills (1970). At Seven hills the business developed + specialized in the repair of prestige motor vehicles. It became one of Sydney’s most prestigious “state of the art” repair facilities. Richard continually researched for better ways of repairing motor vehicles, which has taken him to many parts of the world. Nathans Prestige Autobody Repairs Pty Ltd was established in 1984 at the Amaroo Park Complex, Annangrove Rd where it operated for 18 years. After many years of continual expansion Nathans had outgrown their premises + Richard took on the mammoth task of building a world class repair facility at Rouse Hill that would set the benchmark. Richard believed there was only two ways to go “get more efficient or get out”. Currently operating one of Australia’s largest facilities his specialists carry out repairs + paint work to cars, trucks, machinery, helicopters and other aviation components.

From this location we operated a family owned and run organisation. It was owned and operated by Richard and Judith Nathan. The General Manager was their son Grant. There are currently 9 family members within the organisation.

Recently the business had yet another major change which saw Grant and Lesley take complete ownership, sell the Rouse Hill complex and have now re-located to the Hawkesbury where an even better, more specialised factory has been specifically designed for the general car work and expanding commercial division. Nathan’s realised that to remain a market leader and progress into the future, re-location to a purpose built factory was crucial. On completion of the latest 2 new factory’s our position has progressed to world’s best standards. The business is now considered to be one of the largest private repair facilities of its type in the country.
