I've been involved in an accident, what should I do?
Call our 24 hour accident assistance hotline (02) 4577 7277 for free accident assistance Australia wide. We have all of the relevant claim forms in our office so we can process your claim straight away.
Question 2:
Do I have the right to choose my repairer?
YES YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR REPAIRER. Under State Government legislation it's illegal for insurance companies to dictate where you get your car fixed.
Question 3:
Do I need to contact several repairers for estimates?
No. It is your right to choose your own repairer. ONLY ONE ESTIMATE IS REQUIRED.
Question 4:
Will I have to pay an excess if I am not at fault?
If you have all of the details of the other party involved, there is no reason why an excess should apply. You would be much better off putting the claim through you own insurance to avoid all of the delays and dramas associated with third party insurance.

Can I get a quote for the repairs to my car over the phone?
There are too many variables when it comes to fixing vehicles, we need to inspect the vehicle to be able to assess the full extent of the damage. You can make an appointment for a quotation between 8am-4.30pm Weekdays or 8am-11am Saturdays.

What should I do if I can’t make it to Nathans within business hours?
We can arrange to a suitable time to come to you for your quotation.
Question 7:
Must I notify the insurance company before repairs are made?
Yes. After we have quoted the damage, we will organise with your insurance company to inspect the vehicle and gain the necessary authorities so we can get started. At Nathan’s, we organise everything for you.
Question 8:
How can I get a rental car?
We can organise this for you. All you need to do is let our staff know and we will have a rental car ready for you when you drop your car for repairs.
Question 9:
How will I know when my car is ready?
We keep you informed throughout the repair process, by your choice of telephone, SMS or email. Feel free to call or email your advisor any time during the repair process if you have any questions or concerns.

Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?
Yes, all repairs performed by Nathans have a written guarantee.
Question 11:
Who do I pay my insurance excess to?
Excess payments are paid to the REPAIRER. If the excess applies it will need to be paid prior to or upon collection of your vehicle.
Question 12:
What payment methods do you take when paying my insurance or excess?
Cash or Bank Cheque, Direct Deposit (72hr processing time), Cheque (4 working day clearance prior to collection of vehicle), Credit Card (No Amex or Diners, 2% fee applicable on all transactions).
